MY tube Scremer just gone NUTS - HELP ME PLZ PLZ PLZ...

hey...

I got this wierd problem with my TS (original one, not DIY) when bypassed it's just fine but when I turn it on only the volume knob work but it doesn't even boost the sound... the other two knobs are like duds but all of the knobs clik and pop when turned all the way up or down.

P.S. when the drive knob is all the way down there is a cetain spot where there's no sound at all!

needless to mention my sadness as this little box is quite an important building block of my tone.

Can you help me, gurus of DIY ?

your best bet is to try the debugging page.
 I Always suspect switches in old, malfunctioning pedals.
 Then I take the Voltage readings to see if anything looks totally off...poking the DMM +lead around the chip and the Jfet areas with the -clipped to gnd.
 A signal generator [cheep keyboard and a piece of tape for holding one key down] and an audio probe [I use a stretch of shielded wire and a little gem amp] go long wayy in helping find malfuctions.
  Oh I just rememed [first thing last here] look for any broken offboard wires.

Go do the stuff recommended on the GEO Effects Debugging Page. Then come back with the results of that.
