Which company makes the best tubes?

Could you please give us your thoughts on the new EH tubes? I had heard there was new engineering going on and I don't want to misrepresent a new product line.  I bought a whole mess of Sovteks back when the selection was WA, WB and WXT+ but I know there has been some evolution since then.

What do you mean with "best" ? A certain sound, maximum volume, maximum compression, maximum life, maximum price .... ?
I think it´s very individual and the tubes I like may not suit my neighbours taste. And as always, there are no good or bad companies ... every company has some good products and some let´s say not so good products. But even this is very individual.
As for myself, nothing beats NOS GE tubes for my old Fender amps. I tried a lot of different tubes (Tesla, Philips, Sovtek, Ruby, Groove Tubes .....) and always came back to the GE tubes.

Yes, "new engineering" is a better explanation than my "re-designed".
It is a continuing process happening there, done by guys who are willing, able, and busy, to do improvements far beyond what we may dream of...
