What? Me bias-ed?

i built an tychobrahe octavia clone as one of my first builds and was never really happy with it... i was reading a lot of post on how good this pedal sounds and was thinking, not mine.... i thought about changing the trannys but it looked like a lot of time to see if it "might" sound better... so reading some info on biasing transistors i decied to replace the first 220k resistor with a trim pot... turned it a little and wow... it sounds like a dream... i'm so pissed i missed the whole section on biasing transistors and making sure the voltages are good... something all of us "sudo nubies" should remember... ahhhh... nothing like learing the basics again...
