How much switch pop should I disregard as a mechanical issue

It only pops when the level knob (on the pedal) is up reasonably high.  I have an input cap at 100pf and an input resistor at 2.2megohms.  Is it a mechanical problem, or should I change some values?

Did you put a pulldown resistor there?

Is the 'level control' at the output?  If so then it sounds as though the pot has some DC voltage across it.  This could be a leaky output cap or it could be coming from a switching circuit for a LED indicator if you're using one - are you?

I think it's the output cap, then.  Thanks to you both.
