Quote from: Fret WireYour diagram looks nicer than the original. Double check your resister's though. One is 10k, the other 2.2k. It's perfect for a 1590b box.

the guy that drew me the circuit pt them as 2.2k, which one should i be changing to 10k?

and is 1590b an mxr sized box? cause thats the size i was thinking of using

You put the 10k on the B output side. Of course, they are jumpered together. The 1590b is the MXR sized box. Just a pinch shorter in height, perfect for this project. Check eBay, there are two guys who usually sell them for 3.00 a pop. Here's the link again.

im not going to use the fulltone one, mainly due to the fact i have the schematic drawn and i can read it and understand what it says easily, i find it much harder to work out what is going where on the fulltone box

what do you mean when you say b output? i know different coloured led's use different amounts of power, so would a red or green led need a 10k instead of a 2.2k

sorry if these are pretty dumb questions, im just a bit unsure and wanting to make sure i get everything right before building

Dude, there's no such thing as a dumb question. You don't wanna know hoe many 'dumb' questions I ask, and I always get an answer :)
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

There are no dumb questions when it's time and money, right? Only my dumb answers, lol. I'm still in the mod and build learning phase, not design yet (probably never will be). I meant the led that indicates your B output jack. My understanding is the resistor difference is for the total resistance since they are jumped together. I don't believe I've seen a value as low as 2.2k for single LED's in other stomp boxes.  This is where R.G., Aron, Ansil, Pete, etc. need to chime in and confirm or correct my dumb answer.

i dont really understand why you would need a different resister on different led's, unless the different led's had different power consumptions or something

what would you recomment as values to use?

I always use 10K for my LEDs. But I only use red ones, I don't know about green/yellow...
