Just wondering where to find a good source for Burr Brown op-amps and such...

Thanks

I got my OPA2604 (the chip that I believe Keeley uses in his SD-1 and TS mods) from Digikey.  They're quite expensive though...the 2604 was about $3.50 for one.  They also have some other Burr Brown chips.

Makes me want to splurge a whole ~4.$ just to see what it does here or there.
They say low distortion, might be good for compressor? Da da da just wondering why they figure the pricing on this one and what advantages it might be having.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Pete, I thin the distortion & noise elsewhere in the compressor would outweigh any advantages of the chip. Maybe for a preamp, I don't know.
Incidentally, BurrBrown is part ot Texas Instruments now.
