I have an A/B box in my effects chain and I usually run the two lines into two seperate amp channels on my twin reverb. I some times have to ues an amp with one input. How do I merge the two signals with out them effecting or loading each other?

There are a few simple mixer circuits out there that will do exactly what you need.

I wouldn't just combine the signals "Y-cord" style.

The mini-mixer from GGG does put all 4 input signals together, and feeds 'em into 2 sides of a double op-amp... Shouldn't that work fine?  :?

You musta not built the right stompboxx,,,Besides the statement would make more sense for me if it were stated in the first person...
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

this is a good solution and also illustrates the principle well.

At runoff groove...it pans left and right chains and mixes them...I built a accelorator treadle for mine

Cool, Thanks.
the mixer at http://www.muzique.com/schem/mixer.gif is definitely the right track but I need it to run off a 9v battery. I'm trying to keep this as small as possible. I only need to mix two signals and I don't need a master volume. If any one knows an even simpler circuit, let me know.

Cheers.

I've been lookingfor something similar to merge a theremin signl on my pedalboard....

Only niggle is that I too don;t want a master volume as I find it messes with my tone. Could I just omit the master volume pot?

I'm not too bothered about the 12 volts thing as there is a 12 volt socket in my pedalboard just begging to be used since the day I bought it.  8)

If the master volume is omitted, will all signals remain at their riginal volume levels?

There the statement's different. Happy now pete? :D

I breadboarded the mini mixer project from generalguitargadgets and it works fine... No problems there, except for maybe a little bit of volume loss, but me being lazy I put a volume boost after it. Now to put everything in a box...

Looks like the GGG ones perfect fo me, I'll build it tonight but with only two inputs and no individual input volumes.
QuoteI put a volume boost after it
How did you do the volume boost?

also how long (aprox) will this circuit run on a 9v?

Cheers
