few fun things. to try

ever try a dead gutiar pickup as a tone control...  use it like an inductor.  relays without the magnets and stuff are great for this.

makes a more wah like sound.  you can also substitue them in wahs for inductors.. some good some bad. some downright weird.

subistitue a live pickup for a tone controll with a switch.

basically set up say your neck pup to be a tone control when you are playing the other pups ..  make sure you cut it off if you are on neck pos.. damn noisy if ya dont'
