Ultra Clean Power Supply?

I built the Ultra Clean Power Supply a while back.   I  have one problem with this lately.  I was wondering how I can raise the output voltage a bit.  It works well with all the home brews I  have made but not with a store bought pedal.  I make all my pedals with a negative tip and the store bought one also has a negative tip.   I used a regular wall wart rated for 9vdc -tip and it works fine with the store bought pedal, but not with the ultra clean power supply.     The wallwart rated for 9vdc has 14vdc coming from it without anything attached, the ultra clean has 9.3 vdc with nothing attached.
What do I have to do to raise the output voltage in the Ultra Clean Power Supply?
I believe this will solve the problem.
Thanks!

I have a 15vdc 1a wall wart that I want to tap off to run several pedals.  Do I need to lower the voltage for all my 9vdc pedals?  Or can I leave it at 15vdc?
Thanks!

Hi there!

all I know is if you use more than 10v and use a boss pedal, you're gonna blow the cap at the 9v input, because is rated as 10v (at least on the pedals I've seen)

hope it helps

Most, if not all unregulated 9v power supplies will read much higher voltage with no load.  14v reading is not uncommon for an unregulated 9v wall wart with no load.  The Ultra clean ps (UCPS) is regulated so you get a beautiful 9.3v, consistantly, no matter what the load.  You probably really don't want to raise the voltage of your UCPS, although it is very easy to do with some resistor values changes.

What is the amp rating of the transformer you used to build the UCPS?  Is it possible the current pull is too high for your UCPS?

The Transformer is rated at 1Amp.   I only had one pedal hooked up to it that is store bought.  A Canadian Dixon Super OD.  I just want to up the output voltage a few mvolts, close to 10 volts.  Which resistors do I change for this?

What size resistor can I put in line with the 15vdc wall wart to drop the voltage down to about 9.5 volts?

Thanks
