With my memory of .38 special I can understand why he likes it ;)

All I need is a robotic guitar player to replace myself.

With some mods, it could probably open a can of beer. I always liked my Bud Lite at A440.

There used to be information about a similar tuner in here

but the server seems to be down

I'm not a part of that co-op, but this seems like you guys are missing the point of what you were out to do - get vintage schems. While I personally don't agree with using this kind of board to set up an exclusive club open only to certain members, I realize that you have to charge in order to pay for the expensive pedals in the first place, so I won't belabor that, but are you sure you'll have enough of a demand for this thing to get enough people paying?

Also, you don't really know what's inside of this thing - sure, marketing hype overcomplicates things, but "advanced microprocessor technology" could mean that there's stuff in there you won't be able to buy from mouser, etc. There will be a motor, special casing, an LED controller, and who knows what else to get something that may or may not work as advertised.

It looks like a cool tuner (perhaps gimmicky?), but well, I guess all I'm saying is that it's not a stompbox :)

But don't let the fact that I've never heard of it and it seems kind of odd to me deter you guys; if there's enough of a demand then go for it.

I got the impression that they were joking, that might have just been me though... interesting item, and almost totally useless-it's better to be a tiny bit outta tune, makes it more realistic.

What keeps people from buying these things, figuring out the wiring, and then selling them again. I guess you would lose a little bit of $ via ebay fees, and random variations in market prices, but it wouldn't be that bad if a few people split them... Maybe I'm missing the point?

Ansil

nope you dont' loose money.. you finda friend to sell them for you.

Still no bids!...........there's definately hope for mankind. Save your money: the new Sprint PCS phone will tune your guitar just as well. Also, it will rebiase your amp and test Ge trannies for leakage.
