in this clip you easily hear how nice the shinei is.
it was recorded straight into the recorder, no compression or other effects were involved in anything.
there were only rootnotes being played. the octave-jumps and whatnot are the demonic side of the octave box.

so i hope mr. Obeans will be happy when he gets this from me.

That's a great piece! Thanks for posting it!

It really reminds me of a song by Bongwater.

Take care,

They were a trip to put it lightly.

It was a project between Mark Kramer (producer / Shimmydisc Records / Noise New York studios), and Ann Magnuson (actress / performance artist). http://www.salon.com/music/live/1997/11/17live.html

They only made a few albums (Breaking No New Ground, Too Much Sleep, The Big Sell-out, The Power Of Pussy), each quite differect, with a wide mix of spoken word, punk, rock, folk, wild & diverse covers, and just plain tripped out music. I would recommend them to anybody who can appreciate non-commercial music. To say they were wild falls amazingly short. They'll be in my CD collection forever. :)

Take care,
-Peter

Is this a vintage pedal or a DIY version? If DIY, any info on building one?
