If you recognize this quote, you know how I am about building effects. Just when I think I finally have put together all I will need for some time, I catch mention of say, the EH Electric Mistress here. I can just hear my wife asking me "how many of those little boxes do you need?". Well I don't have a flanger. Never did have one. I LOVE friggin flangers! Why don't I have a flanger! In the late 70s, I would spend HOURS in the amp room of the music store I *worked* in, holed up with an ADA or MXR flanger. I basically learned to play guitar from listening to Adrian Belew. So now I have to build a flanger. Not buy one on ebay like normal people, BUILD a flanger. An EH Electric Mistress (using JDs PCB. I haven't completely lost my mind and decided to do it on perf or anything). I'm starting to think Aron should change the name of this forum to "DIYstompboxers Anonymous". So when you start seeing those "Electric Mistress, Not Working, Suicidal, Please HELP!" posts, or maybe the more disturbing " Electric Mistress WORKING!! ANd nOW, puNY MortalS,  I coNTRol thE WoRLD!! MWUHAHAHAHA!!!" , just remember it's all your fault. All of you!

Well I did spend all day with my relatives, so maybe the insanity is just temporary...

Good luck, Bwan.  Surely you hadn't missed my  recent posts on the pain and sorrows of building the DEM!  LOL!!  No, actually I have it working and I will repeat it again. It is the best flanger! It is the closest to a "through Zero" flanger that you can get unless you get the TZF from Foxrox.

In fact, I may add a circuit for negative flanging and pedal control, if I can.

Just follow all of JD's instructions, double check your resistor values before you solder them, wiring, etc. and you will be very pleased!
