I bought this CE-2 used a while back, and since then once tried an adapter.  However, i read all about that PSA/ACA thing, and assumed that when i made my daisy chain power supply (which i finally did) it would work on 9v regulated.  So such luck. I opened it up, and it looks like someone did _something_ with the wiring at some point - the off board connections are not through hole, they are kinda bent at the hole and soldered down.  Is that normal for boss pedals of this era?

anyway, back to the topic, everything _looks_ in place.  Is there any risk if i do one of the ACA/PSA conversions, or is there some better way to run this thing off an adapter...?  I really like the idea of putting together the pedalboard and powering it, without batteries.

The wiring on the jacks/pots sounds like an aftermarket job. However it doesn't make a bit of difference as long as there is a good electrical connection.

As far as ACA/PSA conversions nothing big to worry about. If you don't want to do one, you can just use the pedal in a daisy chain and it will work fine with 9v regulated
