Hi, im building a neovibe and i was taking a look at the PCB board layout last night : http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/v2/diagrams/neovibe.pdf
and I can't find out how the thing gets power.  Obviously not from a 9volt and there are two wires K and J that say 14vac to 20 vac or 18VDC to 24VDC.  Do I just wire these two up to a DC power jack and then use an AC adapter that fits the requirements? thanks for the help.

The NeoVibe takes a supply of 18 to 24Vdc internally, and makes its own DC if fed AC. The simplest thing to do is to feed it 18vac to 24vac from a suitable wall wart.

The commonest mistake that everyone makes is that they use a jack that allows one of the incoming power lines to contact the case. In building the NeoVibe you MUST NOT allow either incoming power line, AC or DC, to connect to the case. Doing so will keep the pedal from working. Use an ohmmeter to verify that the jack you use does not allow this to happen.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

how would a keep it from connecting to the case?
