Nano Head clone?

NOT !!!!!!!!!!
I've made a really small FireFly,it measures 9"L x 5"W x 1"H or about the size of 3 Boss pedals.
I reality I have yet to wire the guts but the metalwork is done and I wanted to show it to you guys.I have the board measured and made a paper layout so it should fit.
Notice the "Roll Bars" borrowed from the Nano in an homage to ZVex.
Will let you know how it sounds when i light it up but I need to get small caps monday or tuesday.

Aharon,

Looks pretty sweet!  That's an old modem enclosure, right?  One
quick question: what did you use for the power xfmr?  I figured I
would use the spec'ed Hammond for the OT, but wasn't sure what
would be appropriate for the PT.

          yes,that's an old modem I bought for a buck at a flea market.
I had to cut the bottom out but I will put 2 hinges and a clip to make a door for maintenacce ,repairs etc.
It also has to plastic sides to give it that finished look.
The PT is salvaged from something I bought for $5 that had the PT,3 12Au7s and assorted pots n'stuff.The roll bars came from an army box and the black knurled brass knobs came from an old guitar that is no longer with us.
I like the fact that the PT is small and also has a fillament winding.
The OT is a RatShack 70V line transformer,5W version.
Gives 11k at 8 ohms and should give 22K if I use a 4 ohm load.
I collect all kinds of shite and one day it all comes together into one project.I think at the end of the day this will set me back about $20.
I think for a PT you could use anything that supplies about 200V before recto and the current demand should be low enough that almost anything would work,the heater winding should be 1A minimum.

I have about 20 other DIY effects but they are generic square boxes,so nothing freaky or special to look at.
