a little bit of amp perversion.

i was thinking . no one really liked my idea of using the pots on the cathode ends of the tubes...   to control gain and such,,  too noisy..   well what about this. i am currently working on this..  what about a heavy duty LDR  and using a modded expression pedal with a dual pot to controll the clean distorted blend.     as i bring down the resistance of the first tubes cathode   i raise  the resistance at the final stage before the power amp section.  


as i raise the cathode i lower the resistance in between stages..    just a thought.. of course this could still be done on the amp via a dual pot, and using the same led ldr but i thoguht it would be interesting to do it with an expression pedal also.
