The Op-Amp Muff Fuzz is ok, or perhaps try a Distortion+.

For easy, I'd recommend the MXR or Ross distortion.

Check out Gus' mod's to the Muff Fuzz.  Similar to the Mockman.  Pretty simple and one of my favorite distortions.   8)

DS-386 rocks :D A DS-1 clone but then made easy ;)
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

did you ever get around to doing yours???

smoguzbenjamin

No afraid not :(

I gotta get some proper 386s first. I remember someone having a soundclip A/B'ing the DS386 to a DS-1 and the difference was barely audible :) So I'm definately gonna make a DS386!
