Just curious. I was at Ustomp and I saw the BSIAB circuit. Can anyone describe what it sounds like?

Yes, here is a link to Charlie Lamm's page where you can find a build report and a link to a sound sample.  I tried this one early on, but never got anything out of it.  I believe I need to remake the board with the proper techniques (ie not a sharpie and huge holes in the board.)

Here's a clip for the Brown Sound, not sure if it's entirely the same: http://www.tonefrenzy.com/2/brown_sound.htm

That's a different circuit.
There should be a clip of the bsiab somewhere. I recorded one and sent it to Aron, so I'm sure he's got it linked somewhere on his main page.
Basically, it's got really good sustain and a marshally bite.

Yeah, it works for me.  I just may need to build one of these...

Aha... try going to his page and right-clinking on the demo and click Save target as.. to your desktop and then click open.  It works now.  Plays in Quicktime, for some reason.

The BSIAB has that amp feel to it. My favorite dist/OD pedals are done with JFET's. Well...now that I think about it the Blackfire is bipolars and also very ampy. IMHO
