u know what, i'm looking for a pedal that would be great for playing solos, u know like just after the calm riff in metallica's master of puppets, what can b similar to that and produce good soundings when doing some bendings on very low frets on the guitar???

and would b great if the sound lasts longer

I think aron has a few high gain distortions that really have a nice compression. Check out the schatics link at the top of the page

Youngi the best way for solid tight rythm and mellow solos with lots of middle freq is using two separates distortions.But another way is to use your favorite dist with an equalizer pedal!Some simple stompboxes like Boss or MXR EQs can make your guitar sound a lot different while using one or none distortion units...
