Anybody have any wished for designs? So far I've built several of the classics. First a Rangemaster, then a Fuzz Face, TS-808 and a Small Clone. I have parts on hand for a Blue Magic an EA Trem, a PT-80 and an AD-3208 now and I just ordered a board for a Small Stone too.

I just finished PCB layouts for DoubleD, Blackfire and Obsidian which I'm going to order from a PCB proto company. I think I'll have enough distortion boxes then!

My wish list is for an AD-633 based Ring Modulator and a Parametric Equalizer.

So if any of you genius's have any free time please give it a shot.

I'm hoping to give the Blue Magic a go soon, I built a ts808 and I'm not really all that impressed with it.  What I really wish I could build is a ring modulator like the one Jeff Beck used.

I may be able to give the AD633 based ring modulator a shot.  I don't have any of the chips, so the deal is that I will come up with a schematic, you try it, then tell me if it works...then if it has problems, explain them over email and I'll see if I can work out the bugs.

I have been wanting to come up with a Parametric EQ for a while.  These can be accomplished quite easily with a state variable filter...it leaves much room for seperately adjustable Q and center frequency...that may be a while because my main priority right now is working the bugs out of my S/H filter.  If I can get the switch "clicks" out, it actually can be modded to make a nice ring modulator.  If all of the trash I heard when I ring modulated it was only switch pop trash, this thing will sound sweet (like bubbling water and chiming bells).

This is one of the best sounding ringmods that I have ever heard...

But, instead of ring modulators, I'm thinking a little bit further out of the box...
Anyone who is doing any recording on their computer is aware of the vast array of plug-in effects, VST and DX, that are being developed, right?
Well, here's a stompbox I'd like to see...
How about a hardware version of the OhmBoyz Delay?

Here's some block diagrams from the manual...

Cool, huh? 8)

Maybe some minor simplifications could be done to get it all to fit into a stompbox. :D
