Adding a presence control

Hey everyone! I have built my npn booster and added a distortion ckt to it, now I've decided to put in a presence control from this site:

I have a few questions about how to go about doing this:

#1. I'm using version 1 of the presence conrtol in that link, it says I need a 25k pot for the "body" control, I could only buy a 10K or 50K so I bought a 50K. Will that still work ok? And my 100K is an audio taper, from what I've read those are OK for a tone control. Correct? Also where exactly do you add it, I mean where does that wire on the left of it connect to? I can figure the rest out I just need to know where to put it

Im guessing it gets taked onto the output of the transistor, because when its boosted thats when the sound seems to get muddy...
