I finished the Dist+ in a nice Galaxial  10mil Urethane coated DTshirt Transfer covered RACO Box with 3pdt/indicator.
the only thing I havent' figured out is the feet for the RACO box.
I'm thinking of getting a sheet of [rubber...or__ ]and covering the entire bottom ecxept for the screws places...unless someone's figured out an easier or more rugged way, I'm afraid it will be hard to get a flexible surface to adhere to the galvanized plate.

Something I've used in the past (though admittedly, not with a Raco box) is adhering swatches of the "fun foam" you can buy in 1ft-square sheets at crafts/hobby stores with contact cement.  It's cheap, grips the floor nicely, and adheres well to a metal surface with contact cement.

I bought this sheet plastic-y foam stuff at a craft store once, about 1/4" thick,  that works well. I glue it to the bottom. Came in a bunch of different colors. Only problem is that I can't find it in that thickness anymore.

the fun foam mark mentioned works well, can be found at pretty much any store with a crafts section, and is less than a dollar for an 8.5"x11" sheet. they also make an adhesive backed version that is great for all manner of stompbox things: cover the bottom, attach to the back of a circuit board to prevent shorting, holding batteries, etc. i generally just use plain old stick-on rubber feet on my junction boxes, right next to the screw holes on the bottom plate. works pretty well.

This is the exact stuff that I use. You can get it at Walmart for like 35 or 40 cents a sheet.

Next trip 'out', I'll get some sticky foam stuff

If there are no components on the very corners, you could always go to like ACE and get those little rubber feet that have a screw that goes in the middle, then just use really short S. metal screws. But the rubber sounds like a good bet, quick too, probably skid around less too... These guys are sooo smart. ;)

With all the dozen's of blues songs that start "Gonna get up in the morning" , its a fact that blues musicians are apparently the only ones that actually get up in the MORNING...

Since they ARE RACO's after all...Industrial Carpet.
I got some nice [brand new[ grey colored stock from a hospital demo job.
I think I'll like haveing this stuff bondoed on there...if not I'm out 5 minutes messing and a 39 cent plate.
I trimmed and made sure bondo got worked around the edge to help prevent unravelling.
I have a 'drying bench', in the hood/exhaust fan in the kitchen....lucky, just happens to have inside ledges.
I think it's a little too stinky still, but that bondo is fast drying, I used another RACO plate and a clamp.

just on the mention of the "fun foam" stuff, the cheapest deal i've seen on that is in my local Brooks pharmacy.  wierd place to find it, but it's cheaper than paper there.  The best thing I found to attach it with is rubber cement.

lol ansil, you're cheap like me... thats exactly what i do... lol... i have some mousepads lying around for a WHILE, just for something like that... even tho i just started building pedals, i was trying to make a nice pedal board and case for a while, and was planning on using mousepad pieces for stoppers.
