Just a pittance for a holy grail chip that's already been burned-in to boot!

Has he ever sold any?  You'd think he'd get the idea.

I like to bake new chips in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour and twenty-three seconds *exactly*
apparently this turns any chip into a used-for-twenty-years 4558. You just have to remember to mount it upside-down, otherwise you won't hear the difference.

I laughed when I read it, but I must admit my 20 year old TS9 sounds different than any current incarnation I have heard. Of course this is most likely due to parts tolerences, and no *aging* process. Debunking these claims are like debunking astrology, the faithful don't want to be confused by the facts. No amount of double-blind testing can dissuade them.

I read somewhere that The JRC4558d chip in SRV's Ts-808 had a peculiar hair hanging off the 3rd pin, and tiny amounts of alkaline over te body. Of course, i go down to my basement in the morning, and when i come up 4 hours later, i have a chip that is exactly the same as SRV's, even down to the very last alkaline spot. I wonder why everone tells me im a nut for trying to sell them on ebay for $200 apiece...  8)

i can hear the aged chips... i play my guitar crazy loud for a couple of hours and i can hear the chip change just from being run for those few hours... the hi end cleans up nicely and the low end starts to come out more... i think i even hear a third harmonic ring while i'm playing it as well...

i have microwaved chips before to get them to behave weird.. u can do it if you sink the pins into something that will keep them from directly conducting and arcing.   i have used a microwave safe container and made it to where the chip was exposed  of course i only lpu them in there for long enough to turn the dial on and off..  u have to use a dial one. as it is like with a digital one u hit one second hit start and open it. all in the same motion. i can here the difference in doing this.. sometimes they behave very spastic affterwords and those become my noisemakers..

So that's how Keely does his TS-9 BAKED MOD!!

PS- This is the same guy who had the $50 4558 & the 50 JRC's for $250. Tenacious bugger he is.
