yep, i think my problem lies in the nonpolarized caps. ill try to find some today.

what would happen if i bypassed these caps all together?

blassssssssstttttttttttttttttttttttttt heh

well i got some BPs at rat shack today. it wasn tthe problem, altho it does sound nicer. basically is what i have now is a SLIGHT clean volume boost. tone and level knobs work. all voltages check out right on the opamp and the transistors. i checked every resistor, every cap 3 times. i have my jumpers (theres 5 if you count the D3 one). im using the 2 914 diodes and a jumper for D3 like the layout..

im outta ideas :(

heres teh layout and schematic.. theres no errors right?

Time for the pain in the butt stuff: re-check all solder connections to make sure you have no cold joints. Go over the PCB with a good magnifier to check for any copper trace fragments or solder pads touching.
