I built this pedalboard about 1 year ago. The main difference between other home-made pedalboards is that I used a aluminum sheet on the bottom.
The aluminum sheet, with the thinkness of 1.6mm, was glued to a 9mm MDF board by epoxy. The size is 40cmx 60xm and weights about 3Kg.
I also put a pair stainless steel handles on this board to give a awesome feel.

Here are some pics of this pedalboard.

and some slose-ups.

Hope you guys enjoy it.

best to glue a layer of speaker enclosure carpet and velcro your pedals onto it. A very nice build wizard!!

Quote from: Ge_WhizHow do you stick the pedals to it?

Try this special tape

Another way is shown in the following diagram.

The diameter A of the hole depends on what screw you are using.

You could also screw it to a clear acrylic board (3mm) instead of screwing it directly to the pedalboard.

Maybe the aluminum bottom could provide a great shielding if grounded....??

They come pre-cut in rectangles that fit almost perfectly in the space where Boss label's their pedals (underneath, of course)

I've had no problem at all sticking them on the pedals and onto an MDF board.

They are cleaner (no cloth lints get stuck in there) than traditional velcro, but also more expensive.

And they seem to be made for audio effects

Very nice work.

All it needs now is a cover. (I like to protect my things...)

But it made me want to build one to put 3 Boss pedals, my tuner, and a direct box.

Thanks for the pics and the motivation
