I'm interested in building this Power Supply and it says you need 1amp , 100 PIV bridge rectifiers... whats PIV?

circuit specialists have 100volt 1 amp bridge rectifiers... are these what i am thinking?

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure almost all bridge recifiers will work, with there voltages and the current.

100V PIV = peak inverse voltage.

For each type of rectifier, full-wave, haf-wave etc.  the diodes are subject to a certain reverse voltage - you should be able to find a table on the web show the *minimum* PIV required for a given transformer voltage and rectifier type.  The diodes should be rated somewhat above the minimum PIV you calculate.    For effects voltages anything above or equal to 100V will do.
