Use a socket for the input cap so you can change the cap later depending on your guitar.

From the beginner project (which you should check out):



See how I used an IC DIP 8 socket to create a smaller 3 pin socket. In your case, you only need 2 pins.

Solder the 2 pin socket into your board and insert the capacitor into the socket. Try different capacitors for differnet tones.
