Direct Boxes

Ok, I had a Morley JD-10 in mind, but somebody decided it was worth more for him than for me on Ebay...  :x

So I bought a Behringer Ultra G Direct Box with a 4x12" Cab Sim.

And I will use some sort of distortion before it.

Do any of you have any experience with that box?

I mean, any trick I should know to get a better sound out of it.

I bought this one because I read very good reviews about the Cab Sim (and the price is good), and My Red Box mark II didn't have a transformer... And I like the LED that tells you when it's clipping.
