hello~
a friend gave me a deluxe memory man to replace the echo out jack on, the threads were stripped.

here's the kicker~!
the DMM was modded by the analog man for true bypass/in use LED..

i am planning to disable the direct out jack. and use it's jack to replace the badly stripped echo out jack..

i have allready desoldered the jacks, but when removed the direct out jack, and wired it all back up.. there was no echo.. just an unmodulated signal below unity..  :?

i realize this is far fetched, but here goes...

1. the green wire is the echo out, and goes to the echo out tip jack.

2. the echo out tip jack connects to the input jack tip..? yes?"

3. the navy blue wire is the direct out wire..?

4. i can remove the cap across the echo out jack as described in arons   DMM mods.. do i need a jumper across the tip/ground lug of the eho out jack?

5. i will be able to get a pic uploaded of this thing later if need be.. i have a bad feeling about this "repair job".. this always seems to happen when i try to fix stuff for my good friends..

thanks again,
be well,
