I'ts about the switchedcap/resistor ladder after the first transistor.
Finding a switch to make the conections...I could probably do that.
Could one get the sound of a single position of the sixway on the Matchbox switch with a simple R/C network?
Forget the below, unless it's interesting to you.   It looks as though either multiple computations were done on this if not complex ones, ...
Cutting the ramblingbling/ could the ladder be cut in half? ie to use a three position arrangement, and still get three settings just like they sound with the full ladder?
IF i'ts not complicated, could someone indicate where 'cuts could be made to the ladder to get splice it into fewer segements?
Alternately, could a single cap/resistor network be used to get a single position of the sixway switch?
I found the clips clean boosted tones to be quite enticing, but a honkin' sixway switch is just over the top of what I'm ready to undertake for that, and as my personal need doesn't dictate sufficient need for it.
A two way option using a spst or spdt would be easy to handle, and something I might like on other pedals.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use an SPDT for two of the settings.

You could omit the top, bottom, and two middle "rungs" of the ladder.  Switching between a 470pF and 6n8 would give you high-pass and full-range settings.

During development and testing, we discussed the necessity of six settings and decided to keep them all, despite the sometimes subtle difference between adjacent positions.

Also, you could easily remove the ladder entirely and use another tonestack.
