ok, i went and got my avery transfers, and printed them out.

I see a bunch of vertical lines on them....  even before printing.  i thought maybe they would go away after they were ironed on.... no such luck.

maybe ill make some cheesey t-shirts or something.... i dont think they look very good.

maximee

those transfer printout thingies worked just great for me...
so i would suggest you check your printer...

i suspect your problem to be a mis-calibrated inkjet printer...you might want to check the printer manual how to clean and calibrate your printer...
that should pretty much do it.

i hope i did get you right on that one :)
good luck!

no no no no... you misunderstand... the lines are on the paper before i print..... looks like a texture, or watermark on the paper its self.

Samuel

maybe you got a bum pack? I had no such issues with mine...

Brian Marshall

they look to be textured like potatoe chips  :x

I 'think' the grid side should be on the 'other side???
There's these 1'' squares gridded across 1 entire side of the the transfer sheets, is this what you're seeing? I think the ink is to be applied to the opposite side...
OR, I could be misunderstanding the questions about your problem///
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

I am not printing on the grid side.... i read the insturctions, and have transfered a couple already.  the problem is the tranfer paper it's self.  u can see the lines on the papaer before you print.  I tried printing darker.... didnt come out any better.

The transfers appear to have a texture, or watermark, of vertical lines going up and down the page.... space between lines is about 1/16 of an inch or so. totally consistant on all pages.

they are the only avery dark t-shirt transfers i saw.  I dont think i bought the wrong stuff...

ill take a pic tonight to show u what i mean.
