My friend have this amp, it is use 9 v battery. But it sound pretty loud.

Is there any DIY mini amp similar with that amp? that sound loud with or without headphone. (the simplest one)

Is it OK to build pedal and mini amp in one board?

still newbie

hi hari: do a search in this forum with the expression: "LM386";
it will turn up a lot of schems with that little power-amp (~1W) IC,
which is probably also used in the Marshall you mentioned.

To get technical, you could also use two bridged LM386 chips for 2W output power, that would be even better.
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

Welcome to the forum Hari. 8)

Also look at http://www.runoffgroove.com for the Little Gem amp. :D

Sure, you can build an amp and an effect on the same board. :D It's nice to have everything in one place with a portable amp.

Take care,

Jered, Marshall schematic is too complicated for me, I have to study harder about electronic..thanks anyway

Peter, Little Gem amp use 25 Ohm Pot can we replace it with another values because I am not sure to find this.

At Runoffgroove the little Gem Clip's is coming  from: Strat - Little Gem - 2x12 cab - mic - sound card (software reverb)

What is 2X12 Cab? is it another amp? or just speaker?

excuse me for being stupid.. :oops:

2 X 12 is a smallish cabinet with  Two  Twelve inch speakers a.k.a. 2x12.
