how can i add stereo ins and outs to modulation pedals and get that 180degree thing going in and out?  thanks for the info in advance.

To do mono in/stereo out you usually have to add enough circuitry to do a different mixture of dry and effected signal for the second output. It can be, but rarely is, possible to do this with a couple of resistors. In general, it requires at least one additional opamp circuit to do - as well as finding room for that second output jack. Worse, there's not a "general" circuit that works every time, the insides of modulation effects being so different.

Stereo ins and outs get even more complicated.

If you're serious about doing this, the beginner forum is not the place for the question.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Hi, check www.tonepad.com and download the Small Clone project (chorus). At the end of the page there is a simple circuit with a mod suitable to turn a modulation or delay effect into stereo.

Try Anderton's old retro-Stereo adaptor.  You can find a scanof the article here: http://tremolo.elektroda.net/Efekty/Retrostereo.jpg#schemat
