Anyone know of any swap meets for musical instruments and related gear in Phoenix?  There was one at a guitar center long ago, but when I called the guitar centers none of them knew what the heck I was talking about (really, though, do they ever know what anyone is talking about?).  I hear Ziggy's has a swap meet once a month.  Are there any others?

Thanks!

Is Ziggy's the one on Indian School?  I keep meaning to go to that, but I always forget about it.

It's on N. 3rd street, but yeah, it's pretty close to Indian School.  :) 1st Saturday of every month.

I'm going to go next month and check it out.   I've discovered events always happen the weekend before I bother to look for them.

Here's a link to Ziggie's, their address is on there: //www.ziggiesmusic.com

I guess I spelled their name wrong.

I'll have to check that out.  Thanks!

As far as pedals in this town, Musician's Discount in Mesa is the best I've seen since Music Go Round closed up.  Do you know of any other good spots?

Music brokers (I think it's on 3rd street too.  Maybe it's central...)  has a pretty good selection of pedals.  They generally have a good selection of amps, too  (that's why I go there).  If you're in the market for a new Orange, or Soldano, that's the place to go.  The staff aren't usually especially friendly, but there are a couple good guys there.  Don't ask to play the Soldanos.  ;)  The first question they'll ask is "Are you going to buy it?"  Then when you say "How should I know? I've never heard one." they get all huffy.  You can usually get someone to let you plug into the Oranges, though.

I've been to Musician's Discount in Mesa.  They do have a good selection of pedals!

Hey, have you heard a Krank amp yet?  I keep hearing they sound like really loud Crates.
