I bought some Ge diodes and transistors on ebay from this guy: http://stores.ebay.de/Germanium-Transistor

Shipping costs are really low, only 2.60 inside EU for most stuff...

Have you tried Pete Roberts at Vintage Radio Spares?

I bought a bunch of AC128 and AC125 (sub for NKT275) from him, you might try him.
(he's located in the UK)

Yep, Pete Roberts has a good reputation.  Check out his AC188s for bargain basement PNP germaniums.  They make good fuzzes IMO.

Ge also sells "magic pairs" of AC125s with hFEs of 70 and 130 for fuzzfaces.

+1 on Pete Roberts being cool.

The eBay guy minifux1 (also a Peter) is also a good guy, very professional and fast shipping.  I ordered ten OC44's from him (code LXX) and it could have been the luck of the draw but only one of them had a gain between 70 and 120, and that one had high leakage (I used R.G.'s test method).  All the others were either above or below the "magic" range for a Rangemaster.  So, it could have been chance or perhaps his stock has been combed, likely before he got ahold of them. The Russian MP21D I got from him were cool, though, as were the OC76.

Another source to check is Colomor Valves in the UK.
