"Mysterious Ways" auto wha?

Has anybody even created an auto-wha that makes the sound form U2's Mysterious Ways?  I have the Korg A3 that was used for the original sound, but I don't really use it for anything else. I would love to sell it for some $$ but I would really like a replacement for this one effect. I've tried a few filters but nothing seems the same.  

Any ideas?

I've always tried a vox wah through a phase 90, and gotten sort-of close. Maybe it's just me.

I was told at one time the sound was created with a mu-tron bi-phase and the opti-pot, possibly with the voltage-control mod.  I don't know for sure though.
