Making PCB's

and have been amazed at how perfect every board comes out I used to just lay the board in the tray and agitate it every few minutes. The best $31.00 bucks I've spent in a while.
 Anybody making your own boards get this kit its sooooo worth it. Trust me.

I had to discard all my PCB making stuff at the end of last year (never used it much) and I've been thinking about getting one of these types of kits, but don't know how it would compare to just getting some plastic trays like I used before.

The kit is roughly the same price at circuitspecialists (save $1.04), but if your order hits $50 you get a free DMM. Just pick up some 63/37 solder and misc. parts (film caps are pretty cheap there) and you're on your way!

I'm not sure how shipping compares between the two places.

Just to get a complete picture on how you're winding up with great boards, are you using Ferric Chloride to etch? Powder/liquid? And then for the transfer, press n peel blue, or something else?

Yes PNP blue for larger boards but for single stage things, mosfet booster, LPB, etc sometimes I use a Staedtler pigment liner, quick and dirty.
 With the etching tank and air pump its very quick (ten minutes) and the copper comes off evenly, using Pherric chloride.
