Even if there are schematics for the Line 6 unit it'd be useless without the software also.

I mean this line 6 dl4
you can find it at
http://www.line6.com/productDetail.html?model=31
does it need programmation?
i need only a sampler function...
reording guitar frase, playing it and so on, in real time...
I try dl4 (â,¬250!!!) without any software just pluggin in guitar.

The DL4 is DIGITAL.  Which means it's basically a computer running a program (software) with all the delays done in software.  For example, if you had a DL4 without any software, it would be useless.

If you don't know anything about electronics, I would just save up and buy a DL4, it will be more hassle (time and money) to try to cobble together something using RAM chips and whatnot.

ok I understand...
there is any fx analogic similar for the function i need?
this is also an opportunity for learning....

Nope.  Not if you need a sampler of more than 800ms (0.8s).  You'll have to do it digitally (with RAM chips).

Come to think of it, I remember a way you can do it analog.  Use a voice recorder chip (ISD series), some of them have 8 minutes (and up) of recording time.  Don't expect high fidelty though, they sound very lo-fi.
