Hi, Aron , i built the ab box

-the amp/tuner box project

But i was having this unbearable hum during my testing (out to guitar amp)
How can I solve this? musst i mount all the circuit in the enclosures to ground it?
Please help[/img]

aron

Strange, is this the one?

I'm trying to see if I made an error drawing it....

In that picture, the leftmost contacts are the ones carrying the signal. Do you hear your guitar at all while it is being sent to the amp?

The first row of vertical contacts control the signal. The middle row switches the LEDs, the 3rd or rightmost row grounds the inputs.

Could there be an error in the wiring of the jacks?

siaoguitar

yes, i followed your wiring, i hear my guitar, but the hum is very loud, btw, i replaced the battery sanp with my 2.1MM dc jack, i tested using my boss psa ac adaptor

can i post u a picture?
how do i do that?

aron

Can you try it without the AC adaptor?

siaoguitar

hI aRON, CHANGED the dc jack to battery snap, i hear the guitar, but very soft, the hum is softer now, but the led do not light up, i think some soldering is not conducting or whatsoever coz when i move the whole wiring circuit, there is pop sound and the led comes on and off a few times.

Hmm, ...strange

aron

hmmm does anyone else see an error in this pic????
