I had one of these and it was a very good fuzz unit, although it's silicon it cleans up well from the guitar volume, it's also good sounding and not thin and fizzy like some of the Si types.

The SMF folks have garnered high praise for their amps.  I haven't heard any, but the line of pedals shows up in ads in Vintage Guitar, and they seem like fair value for money in terms of features and construction.
