....(with Mark Hammers mods   ) since i'm building it on perfboard (and a small piece at that) I decided to build it in stages, to make the inevitable debugging at the end easier. SOO.... I have the in/output buffers working, and i'm going to build the LFO nxt, how do I make sure the LFO is working? i.e what do I look for at its output?

Thanks in Advance,

Id make sure you have plento' room for perfing that one.
Whif it comes to debugging, having a little extra lead atop the board on the resistors etc. goes a long way to getting the DMM and A-probe to contact points for testing/debugging.
I've bolted pieces of perf together, you lose 3/8ths''  X [however tall your boards are] circuit real estate when you use the non-holed sides to bolt together...might need a larger box when it's working...
A few times I ended up with a small piece of perf, ~40 components on it, no good results, and trying to 'find where' on the bottom of it with the DMM probe ... because no access on the top....whewww....ouch!!!
Schematic layout like cursive writing that had to start 'going down' the page because ran out of room to go --->way...not to 'prematurely trim your ribbons'...I don't know what your layout plan is like...A little extra room can save alot of time sometimes.
