Well i have finished my Tyco octavia and at first when i hooked it up through a amp i wasn't getting any effect just a signal going straight through. I was wondering if there is a problem with me using one 2N5088 npn transistor and   one 2N5087 pnp transistor?

also i checked my output  and input wire and theres no voltage coming from either wire On one side of the 4.7m resistor it shows about 8.8 volts on my meter and on the other side of the 4.7m it shows 0 volts. (where the input wire connects to the board)? i tried about 5 different 4.7m. Is this normal?

and what is the third transistor, and which build (pos or neg gnd.)?

I used one 5087 and two 5088 in my neg. gnd build (GGG) originally. I have since plugged a number of different PNPs in Q1.

But yes, those two parts (5087 & 5088) should work for transistors.

i used 2 of the npn 2N5088
and 1 pnp 2N5087

yeah im pretty sure its neg. I got it off the GGG website. I have done alot of debugging and i still dont know the problem??

the 4m7 near the input should have 0 volts on BOTH sides. There should be no DC present at this point in the circuit. There should be DC present after the decoupling cap (C1, .1uF).

ummm ok now im completely lost??
