Well, it's only 2 months overdue (literally), but I've got the site back up and running.

The eBay lots page is gone, and replaced by a new message board, the parts & SPAM message board.  Go to the board to see what it's all about...  I spent a lot of time making up a list of where to buy what for the best price, but there's some things that need work, like the trannie section.  There's also an articles board.  I've asked a few people to post some things, but if you've been itching to make a tutorial or swrite something up please do so.  The links and DIY archive sections are much bigger. There's also an upload thing... thanks to pete snowberg for helping me out with that.

To commemorate this very belated re-opening, I'm going to have a bit of a contest, similiar to tonefactor's from a while back.   Since the board has a few new sections, and has been dead due to the site being down, I thought I'd try to jump start it a bit...  So, the contest is only open to those members of the EA forum with 15 posts or more.  There are already a few of us (my post count is sort of embarassing).  All you've got to do is post in the contest thread in the main forum, and have a postcount of 15 or more, and I'll randomly select a name from the list of repliers to send their choice of a "anything kit", or basically an enclosure, jacks, switches, pots, knobs, pad per hole perf, ICs and other parts that I have, the whole shebang save any harder to get parts like analog delay chips, for them to make anything of their choice, with my support (or even better, the support of the forum).  The forum, unlike this one, is more of a general-anything forum, so post about circuit bending, stock pedals, whatever.

Cool! I was wishing I could access that data sheet archive you have the other day. Glad you got it back up. 8)

Looks cool, Colin. What about to put a NOSPAM in your e-mail address?

Actually, I'm using this funky code that uses <script> instead of <a href=mailto:>, which is said to help a bunch.

Very cool Colin! :D

I'm going to recommend your site to everybody for pedal schematic uploads if you don't mind.

Very nice!  But the green block border is playing mind games with me.  And it's winning!

Life is like a box of chocolates.  You give it to your girlfriend and she eats up the best pieces and throws the rest away.

:) excellent.  I'm going to try to organize the files pretty soon, so that it's easier to navitage through the long list... with the hosting I have, hopefully I can provide a pretty end-all be-all schematic resource instead of having to google or muck through broken links.

:) It's just a variation on the older pinkish one.  I made a poll a while back about the new color...

Quote from: PhorhasMan, I dig that joystick expression thing!

It's not too difficult to make...  Line 6 modelers basically are controlled by a 10k pot wired between the tip and ring conductors of a 1/4" mono jack, so if you go inside one of the joystick's it's a SP5T switch (one for each direction and one for the button).  If you wire a resistor from each direction's conductor to the "shaft" conductor of a coaxial cable, with different values between 0k and 10k, then wire a cable with the tip conductor as the pull, you've got it.
