Looking for fat sweet tones, ala London Fuzz II....anyone tried a build that gets close?

Thanks

Personally, I'm tickled with my silicon fuzz face based off the schem. at www.muzique.com

Of course, I added a bias trimpot and a 10k resistor to the input to stop the local religious channel from interrupting my Hendrix-shaming solos.

...But I hear other people don't like the fuzz face with silicon trannies as much.  :D

Go over to Doug Hammond's site and listen to his Hot Silicon Bender, it's got some sweet stuff if you can play that Geetar,
It's my favorite Lil Fuzz Pedal.
And you know somethin, Doug, That's a Cool tune your Rippin on there, you layin down some good stuuf on it.
I give this pedal a A +, you gotta build this 1

Definately the Axis Face over at fuzz central.  Great fuzz.  Those low-gain PN2369As are great!  For a bit more gain try a BD139 as Q2.

Hello Brett--
Hey, did you use a PN2369A in your Axis??   I thought you just used them for Fuzz Face type circuits...

Note to self for this weekend: Must build an NPN Tonebender with PN2369As.
They are SO great for Q1 in fuzzfaces.  Quiet, hFE = 60 to 70, a few cents each - what more could you want?[/quote]
