Hey all,

First post, so please take it easy on me!

I have a Line 6 M13 stompbox modeler, and I'd like to maximize the number of effects per scene that I can use. Technically, it allows for a total of 12 effects, but if you use an expression pedal, you can morph between 2 settings on any model (or models) that you set up. I have a volume pedal that I used to used as an expression pedal, but I prefer to use it as a volume pedal. I have an amp-channel switch box that I don't use with the amp, and figured I might be able to modify it in order to use it as a fixed expression pedal.

What I need it to do is allow me to access 2 different settings, one on the first click, the other on the second click....make sense? Right now, the box I have is like this:
Mono output jack wired to a DPDT footswitch. The lugs on the footswitch are wired as follows:
1  4
2  5 <(wired to lead, from jack, via an LED)
3  6<(wired to ground from jack)

I know how to solder and all that, but as far as how I need to wire this, I'm lost. The volume pedal that I've been using is an Ernie Ball 6181 VPJr, 25kOhm, if that helps. Oh, and as the box is wired now, I can get the settings to switch one way, but not the other... in other words, if the LED is on, I can change the setting by clicking the footswitch, but then cannot change it back. This is the issue I'm having, and I'd greatly appreciate any and all help you can give me!
