Electrolytics capacitors

How do you place the 2 electrolytics on the board of the Rambler ? I've seen on the beginner project that there is a side for that. Is it okay if a place the 2 with the grey stripe facing out of the board ?

The grey stripe is the -ve side. the grey side of the output goes to the volume pot, the non grey side goes to pin 5 of LM386. There's one between pin 7 and ground too, don'tknow what this one does, but the +ve side goes to pin7 and the -ve side goes to ground.
