Rebote 2 low pass filter questions

Finished a rebote2 delay from tonepad yesterday, and i'd like to make the repeats  a tad brighter and louder. Here's the project:

Joep's build report suggested lifting the .01 cap to ground after the 1k resistor and before the repeats' pot section (around pin 14), but that was not enough. Any tips on where to continue tweaking?
Cut it large, and smash it into place with a hammer.

briefly taking a look at the circuit..

try reducing the value of the 1k resistor before the lifted 0.01uF cap, or try reducing the value of the 0.027uF cap shown beside that same 0.01 uF cap... maybe?
