"Blue Clipper" gone BAD ??

Hi, you may have seen the photo's of the enclosure a few days ago, well after finishing the "paint job" and putting back in a perfectly working circuit, its gone nuts !
Awful "hissing" like frying 1000 eggs all at once ! its fine when bypassed
anyone got an idea of what may have caused that ??

By the way, the "water decals" came off ! even after three coats of laquer, so be warned, it takes five coats and 24hrs of "drying out"  !!
paint jobs, . . . . . BAH !

Aha !  it was reacting strangely to my "one spot" PSU  !!
Battery or Boss PSU is fine and dandy,      strange ? that seems to work well with everything else .
