The Red Rooster

Wednesday 14 dec I delivered my last paper, which I have to explain/defend on the 19 jan next year. And of course it'll be succesful; it's the LAST exam before I finally will be able to write Ba. Sc. EE. on my card.

It has been 3 months of hard work to finish that paper, and after almost 2 days of sleep I've spent the day drinking coffee and desoldering old components from my older stompbox test circuits. It is pure pleasure to have the spare time to fool around with my soldering iron instead of having my mind occupied with complex problems...

I'm really looking forward to get the time to upload some new schematics to my site, and I'm also looking forward to goof around with my guitars and stompboxes :-) So far it's GREAT to have the time to prepare some of my gear for my next project.

I'm really looking forward to have the time to be more active in this very nice community in the coming year.

Hmmm..... "THE RED ROOSTER BOOSTER".
What a great commercial sounding name.
Just trippin....

I'm afraid I can't tell you anything about my paper;  the project is made for a danish company, which has intentions on going comercial with a project using some of my work. Therfore I've signed a Non Disclosure Agrement, NDA and I have no intentions about violating it. :-)

But I can tell you that the project involved choosing the best HW solotion based on knowlegde about customer demands regarding product lifespan, use cases, use patterns, current consumption, accuracy and working temp. The project also involved some design related to the choosen HW solotion, and of course, some verification of the design.

Hmmm a "Rooster Booster" maybe it'll be at project to appear in a near future - I don't know yet ;-)

Regards

Kurt
