I have found basically three sites, Guitar Gadgets, Tone Pad, and the Geo site.

Harmony Central has a lot of stuff too.

Does anyone have a list of DIY FX and AMP sites?

Goggle can lead you all over the net for hours leaving you empty handed.  I know because I've done it.

You HAVE used the links above, haven't you?

The three you mention tend to have the largest assortment of schems, projects, files available, however there are many others that are worth visiting for their own unique content.

For instance, Jack Orman's AMZ site (www.muzique.com) has tons of useful stuff, and along with RG Keen's GEOFEX site is one of the oldest such sites.

Tim Escobedo's site has a wealth of just off the beaten path projects that are clever, simple and inexpensive to make (http://www.geocities.com/tpe123/folkurban/fuzz/snippets.html).

The Runoffgroove gang also have a wealth of simple, cheap, and decent sounding projects, with board layouts, and benchmark voltage measurements. (www.runoffgroove.com)

Then there are special interest sites like http://members.fortunecity.com/uzzfay/home.html

Philip Bryant also has a decent site with a broad array of distortion circuits and full projects.

Marcos/Munky has a site with an interesting array of schems for heavily modded favourites, plus lots of classic projects you wouldn't stumble onto unless you live in South America.

There is also a bunch of stuff at my site (hammer.ampage.org).

I did look at the links above, somewhat, but I want to thank you guys for the added info.

I have a lot of reading to do and I want to maximize the content.   I have learned a lot in the last three weeks since I decided to build my own stomp box.  I'm not done reading Mark Hammer's works yet (The technology of..) and I will finish that and research all of the sites given in this thread.

It's like going back to school except I'm actually doing something with what I learn.

This is really amazing, all this knowledge and with a friendly group of diy'ers to help me learn.  I’ve been to several forums in the last couple of years (no diy stuff) and this group seems to be very well orientated and civil (disciplined) and I like that.

Obviously this wealth of knowledge and support has been a group effort.

Fantastic and Cheers to all who have contributed!

While I have one Technology of paper that RG stuck in the collection, that's just one paper out of the many that RG has written and posted.  This guy set the gold standard long ago.

No need to apologize to anyone.  I just feel a little uncomfortable when others' work is mistakenly credited to me and wanted to correct the error.
